Those familiar with Australia's specialty coffee scene will almost definitely be familiar with Campos Specialty Coffee. Often heralded as one of the original specialty roasters in Australia, Campos redefined the Sydney coffee scene when it first appeared with a cafe in Newtown in 2002. We were lucky enough to get a tour of their Banksmeadow roastery, as well as taste a few new Brazilian coffees with Campos founder and current Cup of Excellence board member Will Young. Among those we tried was the pulped natural Cup of Excellence #4, the Sitio Da Serra. Another standout was the Agua Limpa, whose coffee varietal (Acaia) made it's debut on the CoE scoring this year at #10.
